This and instead of working with Turkey who is a legitimate partner in fight against terror, US decided to arm the very terrorists whom they listed in their own terrorists list to utilize in the region. In response to Turkey’s objections in a serious announcement US said “look these guys are not the same guys as PKK, they call themselves a different name PYD/YPG/SDF whatever” even though they use the same flag, same leaders, same ideology, same figthers and see Turkey as the enemy. Poor people who eat fast food, chicken or whatever processed meat products available for cheap not going to give a fuck about what their meat is labeled. Meat just doesn’t mean the steak people buy from the market! Processed meat consumption (including all kinds of meat beef, lamb, pork, chicken even fish) is the cheapest protein source for poor people. This study is disregarding how poor people do their food shopping. I’m alright with anything that will kill me instantly. My fear is having something so sudden that will keep me bedridden and helpless to finish it all. I won’t wish it on an enemy.

I had family members that needed care and I was happy to provide it. But to see them like that was hard and I know it was harder for them to go through that not just it felt like that to me but they told me so as well. They were too religious to end it. I’m not so I hope I’ll never experience this fear of mine.

I understand where you’re coming from but I’m talking about the general parts of his speech. What he is saying is true regarding how are you going to have freedom of speech when everyone had a subjective view of things and get offended by one thing while finding other normal?

This is the problem with the main issue and I especially find it problematic to limit freedom of speech because there is almost no way to stop it becoming something to censore and/or ban people.

Misinformation is something else like defamation. Someone lying about a person or defaming someone can be proven and the guilty party would be punished. That’s already implemented into the law systems off almost all the countries. On the other hand there will always be extremists in the world doesn’t matter if you limit or ban them. Look at the fascist movements of the WW2 era and how they are still continuing today or the religious extremist bullshit going in the world. But justifying limiting freedom of speech because extremists are using it is like banning people from buying Toyota trucks because ISIS is using them or banning people from flying 9/11 happened.

it’s like the Linux distros. Depending on the Custom ROM/OS you choose they offer many things. As for grapheneOS it doesn’t have anything related to the Google apps and services that run in the background so there is no google listening or spying on your stuff. Redmi 10 can install it iirc. There is a good community on xda-developers.com. You can start there with the subforum for your phone. They will have a lot of guides and different Custom ROM/OS options you can choose from.
