I am soliciting you, dear readers, for the names of historians who study Soviet history textbooks and Soviet classroom curricula. I’d like to talk to one or some of them about the new Medinsky uchebnik.
Are you an Indigenous writer? Are you an enrolled member of a tribal community within Minnesota? Then you're eligible for the Reclaiming Mni Sota Indigenous Writers Grant.
In conjunction with his forthcoming novel Reclaiming Mni Sota, author Colin Mustful and his press, History Through Fiction, will award one Indigenous writer a $10,000 grant to pursue the advancement of their creative writing projects, education, and career.

From your list, I've only read "Shuggie Bain". I enjoyed it a great deal.
Currently, I"m in the middle of "Tom Jones", by Henry Fielding. I guess it's a book that I will be only able to read during vacation, since it's quite long and I don't think it is suitable for intermitent reading.

As a little intro, for those who don't know me: I am an avid reader and reviewer of mostly fiction. I really do love to learn about anything, so hit me with your area of interest/expertise. I love all the arts. I am a champion of democracy, rights and equity for all. I will post about politics, but also about my dog Baxter, my wife J, and odd happenings in my neighborhood, etc.

Toevallig zei ik voor de vakantie tegen m'n man dat het lang geleden was dat een film of boek me echt geraakt had. Nu ik 't Hooge Nest een paar dagen uit heb kan ik zeggen dat die periode voorbij is. Wat een verhaal. Ik blijf nadenken over hoe geleidelijk het allemaal leek te gaan en waar het eindigde. En ik zie zoveel parallellen met nu #WorldWar2#THoogeNest@boeken
