I created a blog in which I talk about the main characters of the game overwatch2 and I would like to invite and challenge you to go to the blog HTTPS://playstationcouch.com and leave in the comments the right and wrong about what I said about the characters 😉😉
An Indiana public library is moving 1300 young adult titles to the adult section--making them unavailable to the readers the books were written for, many of whom need those books to survive their lives.
The library is spending over $300,000 just to deny teens the right to read books written for and about them.
If I am not mistaken, before there was the #Civilization franchise, there was “Empire”. It was a fun game. There is #EmpireDeluxe available on #Steam, but I miss the DOS version that I played a lot.
Modern games today are usually limited to certain themes. If it's flight, it's flight. If it's tank, it's tank. If it's strategy, that's it. Carrier Command have it all.
I know, we can still play this today, however, what I miss with this game is the 2 player mode.
You just play with your friend and blast each other to friendly matches and laughter.
Being able to play 2P mode, face-to-face, is something that we have taken for granted, and now we're all just virtual avatars in online games (even online multiplayer games).
So, how about you?
Q: What are the five (5) video games from the 20th Century that you want to be able to play again today? And why?
The game came out for the Nintendo DS, and made strong use of the touchscreen. While emulators and even Osu provide other options for playing, even touchscreens can’t mimic the feel of hitting beats with a stylus. I even feel moderately the same way about games like Trauma Center, another good DS classic based on performing fantastical surgery.
Cat game is on sale again at @steam . Explore the sprawling urban landscape from a feline perspective. It's still one of the highest discounts this game has seen yet.
I admit, the cat was the only reason why I bought the game in the first place. I regret nothing for it, though I can see how the charm doesn’t work on others.
Precious few #screenshotsaturday left before release on #steam! This whole #indiegame dev journey has been tough. Would we do it again? Yes! But we'd consider more carefully the next project for sure. We probably went to #narrativegame heavy this time for a first #game. And even #pixelart is hard to keep up with when you need alot of it!

How many interviews have actually been done with homeless people? How many of their stories of struggle have you actually heard?
Few to none I'll bet. That's because everyone involved in producing the glamour of a thriving society makes it a priority to suppress just how badly it's failing.

Thanks, very neat! I hope they become useful for people whose voices are under/mis-represented, the way the signal of #actuallyAutistic helped replace some noise from autism speaks on #tumblr and spread from there.
Found her yesterday evening and brought her to the animal rescue/clinic.
Found her mother soon after(dead at the side of the street)
Thinking about adopting her.
Went for a little 4k run between my hotel and the Magic Fountain of Montjuïc. I even spotted some green Monk Parrots, the same as we have back home. They're actually native to South America, but have been introduced to at least two continents, without becoming disruptive to the local ecosystems. One of the first things I noticed when we arrived was their distinctive call, welcoming us. You know, if they can make a home here maybe I can, too, someday.

and I have an article in Social Sciences
'Offshoring Refugees: Colonial Echoes of the #UK-Rwanda Migration and Economic Development Partnership' https://mdpi.com/2076-0760/12/8/451
part of the special issue The #Colonial Legacies in #Asylum and Welfare in Europe.
The UK-Rwanda proposals differ from official practices of #deportation as they have developed in liberal democracies since the 1970s.
There are certainly some international parallels, such as Australia’s ‘Pacific Solution’ of ‘offshoring’ asylum, which is often cited as an inspiration. Yet a much clearer precedent involving the forcible movement of people to countries where they have no personal or legal connection existed for many years in the British Empire.

let me second this. I feel so much gratitude towards the autistic community. Colors and forms do a similar thing to me as community does. They form a space of resonance I can put my deepest feelings into and allow them to open and unfold. It's like an embrace. Here are some colors and shapes of my own. This one is abstract and it feels similar to me as a cat, laying on my chest, purring on my heart. @actuallyautistic
this is a no-solder mod and a complete case swap that uses a funnyplaying 3.0 ips kit, a usbc battery mod, a custom shell, new buttons, new stickers, and an ezflash omega definitive edition cart with an sd card that currently holds every #gb#gbc and #gba rom from myrient afaik
very happy with it, definitely my second favorite way to play gba games after the steam deck. this is great to just bring around around with me when i'm just waiting to pick someone up. :3
Constitution Quiz of the Week!
🔴 ⚪ 🔵
Can you imagine Aug. 1787 in Philadelphia?
The Federal Convention started Fri., May 25, 1787.
On Mon., Aug. 6, 1787, the “Committee of detail” report had a lot of similarities to the #Constitution eventually signed on September 17th.
Thanks to #JamesMadison’s notes, we can peer into much of the #debates that #summer, including the Committee of Detail report that recommended that #Representatives “shall have been a citizen in the United States for at least three years before his election”.
