@catgirlfingies I really liked Silent Hill 3 and Fatal Frame. Hill 3’s spooky atmosphere and plot was great. I became a fan of the franchise immediately after I played it. As an aside: I was SO bummed when they cancelled Kojima’s Silent Hill project 😭.
Fatal Frame had a cool ghost-fighting mechanic. It was like Pokémon Snap but with higher stakes. Taking a good shot meant that you weren’t going to die fighting a particular ghost 😄.
And yes, I played lots of horror games back in the day of PS2. I don’t play a lot of them nowadays because I only have a Switch now as my main console, and I’ve been prioritizing first-party games (no horror there!). I did play Luigi’s Mansion 3; does that count? 😄
@yaitorr same here.was just taking a look.but have not played it,yet,as there are other games to be finished firtst, before deep diving into this.especially since there is a second part, coming next year.also SH2 is getting a remaster for ps,next year.did you like it,back in the day?
The BBC creates news stories in more than 40 languages. So earlier this year we built a prototype to help keep track of them. https://bbcnewslabs.co.uk/projects/mat/
Yesterday, we took a funicular (not pictured, unfortunately) and a cable car up to the Monjuïc Castle fortress. It's an impressive structure with excellent views of the city and there's an active park on the surrounding grounds, but it has a dark history. On multiple occasions, its cannon have been turned on the city below to administer collective punishment for resistance to the crown in Madrid. The fortress has also been the site of numerous atrocities. Look up the Bombardment of Barcelona (1842) for example.
Any PS4 peeps here? I've noticed that PKGs for Rune Factory 4 Special and Rune Factory 5 are not on any of the usual sites. Does anyone know where they could be found?

Deaths Door
This game is an isometric hack-and-slash ( game viewed from the top) with a very interesting premise. You e a raven with a sword and an energy arrow, tasked with retrieving orbs for your company.
It feels unwelcoming to me. Like I shouldn't engage here if I'm not autistic enough. I'm second guessing my own experiences less by the day, but from what I've heard almost everyone with late diagnosis have felt gaslit and left out throughout their lives. With all the self doubt that entails, seeing people proclaiming they're actually autistic feels like yet another "you don't belong here".
@neversosimple I’m also late autistic. My take is we speak for ourselves rather than health care professionals or even well intentioned family members. Autism is so broad and diverse in how it shows up that it’s hard not to feel fraudulent (especially with well meaning people saying no you’re not or isn’t everyone a little autistic?). If you’re autistic the hashtag is for you.
@Elizabeth3 Thank you for replying, I was hoping that's the angle rather than exclusivity. :)
We both point to the same thing: the self doubt that comes from our surroundings trying to convince us otherwise.
Seems my doubts took it one step further expecting the same from other people with autism. I won't assume exclusion from anyone who uses it, but I think I'll be wary of using it myself due to my initial reaction.
