Hey Ya'll! I was thinking of hosting my own Mastodon Instance, but noticed that it's pretty big as in software, I'm looking for something a bit more light. I'm preferably looking for something that runs in docker, as I have that installed on my Linux book, Yes, I am using Linux as if I attempted to use Windows, MacOS I wouldn't have a great time.
Anyways, I was going to choose lemmy, but I think that's also heavy, not sure though!
I'm running Mastodon and yes it is quite a big software but it is fairly lightweight if you run a one person instance. The biggest advantage is that it's rock solid. I had zero problems running or upgrading it in the last um 5 years or something.
I mean…yes, the Arabian plate smashed into it, the Persian Gulf and Straight of Hormuz are an extension of the Tigris and Euphrates that flooded during sea level rise, but the general thrust of the plates in that region pushed Arabia into Iran about as hard as India is pushing into Tibet
Yup, this is what they do. Even if it does work, it doesn’t matter, because they’ll just create a new subscription category and opt you back in. It’s illegal, but laws without enforcement are just ink and paper.
Help me out please, I’m looking for songs about disability or musicians with a disability where the disability influences their art. Possibly for a thing.
You might reach out to artists and activists too. Alice Wong is amazing and highly recommend her book, The Year of the Tiger: An Activist's Life. @bookstodon
Good morning everyone, we noticed that feddit.de has been unreachable since last night (server error). But how come I from Mastodon or Lemmy.ml can find some messages published this morning? Maybe the problem is only with the web server? While can you still connect via the app?
Can anyone give me an explanation?
The front-end is pretty much broken since a few months and there seems to be no admin with either the knowledge, the permissions, or the time to fix it. Federation seems to work, though. As well as the API for apps, but all, most, a lot of feddit.de communities moved to feddit.org with same name.
Here’s all you need to know: GoodRx is offered for free to consumers. They regularly have better prices for drugs than the product that consumers are paying for.
Also, Cost Plus Drugs exists where they operate as a PBM, but refuse insurance. They clearly tell you their markup. I have yet to find a drug that’s not cheaper there.
All my books (light(ish) romantic fantasy, escapism and happy ever afters) are halfprice at Smashwords for all of July as part of their summer/winter sale. Try one out for only US$1.99 and help me pay my dog’s vet bills 🐕 🩹
