At this point there’s no way Elon isn’t doing this self-destruction purposely. There’s just no other logic I can think of beyond that.

“It’s not a bad game, it’s a AAAAA title!” “Oh great, yet another AAAA game from Ubisoft”. That high number of A’s is becoming a synonym for a bad rushed game with a big budget.

autotldr Bot , in Finally, after a long blockage, it's now legal in Western Australia to take a plunger to a toilet or change a showerhead

This is the best summary I could come up with:

Steve Walding, principal policy officer at WA regulator Building and Energy, told Nadia Mitsopoulos on ABC Radio Perth that the February 10 change to legislation was an overdue reform.

“But work on the plumbing legislation has been slow over the years and we’ve included this in a wider reform package, so there’s been a bit of a wait there.”

The legislation now allows residents at their own home to legally undertake basic plumbing tasks, including maintaining, repairing and replacing showerheads, taps, cistern washers and water filter cartridges, and to clear a blocked pipe or toilet with a plunger. They lost the right to do this in the Plumbers Licensing and Plumbing Standards Regulations, introduced 24 years ago in 2000.

Replacing a water heater, toilet suite or repairing a burst pipe are all examples of tasks that require a professional, Mr Walding said.

Murray Thomas, chief executive of the Plumbers and Gasfitters Association of WA, welcomed the changes.

He said it was not uncommon for plumbers to be called to help people who have had their home plumbing work go wrong.

autotldr Bot , in Lloyd Austin was treated for prostate cancer before health emergency, Pentagon says | WaPo

This is the best summary I could come up with:

Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin had surgery last month after a prostate cancer diagnosis, officials disclosed Tuesday, detailing for the first time what condition led to medical complications and a lengthy hospitalization that he kept secret from the White House, Congress and the American public for several days.

He was diagnosed with a urinary tract infection, and additional evaluation determined abdominal fluids had impaired the function of his small intestines, prompting doctors to drain his stomach with a tube through his nose, the statement says.

An uproar ensued, beginning this past weekend, when it was learned the Defense Department failed to notify President Biden and the White House that Austin was in the hospital.

Critics, including political allies, have chastised the administration for its secrecy, with many noting the calamity that could have occurred with the United States actively, if indirectly, involved in two wars and the recent rise in attacks on U.S. forces deployed in the Middle East.

White House officials have stated repeatedly in recent days that Austin’s job is not in jeopardy despite his failure to disclose a his illness — even in a personal conversation with the president over the weekend.

Parallel reviews launched by the White House and the Pentagon — into the delegation of authority across Cabinet agencies and the handling of Austin’s hospitalization, respectively — raised the possibility that officials may choose not to disclose additional details about the recent events while those investigations unfold.

If you block spam SMSes or assholes and spambots on chat services, it’s basically that. No matter how much the other person tries, they can no longer get through to you on that service. In most cases, it’s as if they no longer exist.
