Not the hat wearers, but between 5 and 20 percent of undecided voters say 8n surveys that it matters to them. Not a lot (5% of maybe 10%) but it’s an election where some states are won by 11 thousand votes (under 1% margin).
This is a bullshit article. They ask how people treat themselves or celebrate an extraordinary day, then use every example of that treat (going out to dinner, and spending time with family are both listed) as evidence that you had an extraordinary day. Like, it’s a nice way to prompt gratitude, but it’s not a metric for extraordinary days
Usability comments were positive from what I recall reading. Seeing how TurboTax turns into a manually calculate everything yourself and good luck as soon as you step outside the normal workflow, the people that would use this just might. e.g. good luck filing domestic partner filing separately in California, no real examples to lure you into their shit higher price support tiers
If I lived in some city with a functioning socialist or democratic socialist government, with good public infrastructure, education, and health care, I swear like half my expenses would be gone. I spend more than $400 a month on a car payment (and that was after buying a used one many years old), a similar amount on a student loan, and about $300 a month on my auto insurance (which feels like it tripled recently this last year. Happening all over the west coast I’ve heard from others for some reason?). Plus there’s gas for my long commute, because I can’t afford to live near my work. Buying a hybrid car helped with that, but now I’ve got that car payment. Add in how much I pay for health insurance plus my HSA, and that’s basically a whole paycheck gone every month. It’s ridiculous when you think about it - that it doesn’t have to be that way.
