Netanyahu’s conditions are an intentional poison pill. He has no desire for peace and every incentive to continue in Gaza. Between that and them fucking with Iran and Lebanon, I’ll be surprised if the whole region isn’t at war by this time next week.
I know he’s just sucking up to her because he berated her recently, and it made the news. But really he’s just displaying how politicians usually feel about those who are in the military or are veterans, that warfighters are expendable tools. Look at how veterans are treated for getting benefits or disability.
IMO, Hawkish politicians in all countries should be mandated to have their own children serve in combat. You can’t call for conflict or sending out troops unless your own flesh and blood is on the line too. It’s too easy for politicians to become detached from reality and believe that they’re kings.
I feel like I recall a story about a chip company that slowly reduced their salt content by like 50% over a number of years and literally no one noticed or complained.
I definitely saw another story about how they were researching pyramid-shaped salt crystals because they have higher surface area to volume, and with cuboid salt you wind up swallowing it before the whole thing even dissolves, so you’re not even getting a theoretical flavor experience, it’s just going straight into your gut.
Salt is not an issue if you’re healthy and drink enough water. Our problem is we’re not healthy and don’t drink enough water…we eat chips and drink coke with it.
