True, but largely irrelevant. There is no evidence that Khelif has XY chromosomes aside from an accusation by one corrupt Russian boxing official, made after Khelif beat a Russian boxer. They have not produced the test, said where it was done or what the results were.
Someone in reply to me above inadvertently showed a very simple reason why they’re suspect by trying to prove they had accurate testing by sending me to the IBA’s own press release, which stated:

They won’t even say how they tested her or who they administered the test. Just “we tested them, but not for testosterone, and believe us when we say the test results of the type of test we won’t tell you they took say they’re women.”
And people keep telling me this is about testosterone. So if they weren’t tested by the IBA for testosterone, why does testosterone matter?
The simplest explanation is that they didn’t do any tests, and this whole kerfuffle is a very successful act of revenge on the IOC, Khelif, and the rest of the sports world.
I don’t think it matters either way. Until we’re told at the very least what the tests were or who administered them, any testing is irrelevant. They don’t even need to say what the results were. All they have to say is, “we did X test on them and Y doctor administered it and Z lab did the analysis.”
Did they test them? Who knows? Who cares until they give us the details?
The AP article linked above even points out that it was three days after she beat a previously undefeated Russian newcomer. By disqualifying Khelif after the fact they retroactively made the Russian boxers record “perfect” again. Now they’re just trying to cause more issues after being stripped of their international recognition a few years ago.
Honestly, these ex post facto disqualifications seem pretty fishy to me to begin with. Shouldn’t qualification happen before a match, not after the results have already been decided?

This simply indicates that this genetic makeup is advantageous in sports. I would imagine the average height and weight for both genders is probably out of the norm by a wide margin too.
xy genetics are kinda like crack for physical activity. It’s probably one of the widest gaps between the biological sexs. xy sexed individuals have a large advantage unless under long term and early hormone suppression

As with most giant corporations, if the government stopped heavily subsidizing them in many direct and many more indirect ways, they would basically collapse under their own incompetence quite quickly.

BTW, Elon publicly showed off behavior when there were those boys caught up in the cave, but he really did a massive switch right in the middle of 2020 where Tesla stock got an unexplained price spike. Lol, it was not unexplained. They’d gotten over the model 3 problems looming over the company and were starting to bring in very high profits per car as well as having profitable quarters. Once that happened, that also made entry into the s&p500 a possibility which if happens, typically also drives the stock price up as billions of *(dollars of) shares get bought up for ETFs and removed from circulation due to being held longer and not traded.
It was obvious to anyone watching it that something was going to happen IF the model 3 was a success and they became profitable. The risk was were they going to pull it off, and there was legitimately a point where they almost didn’t.
As soon as those crazy high margins dropped off years later, the stock came down hard.
Edit: they’d also been getting credit rating increases prior to this, which was a lead up to the S&P500 inclusion, which were bullish signals.
Model 3 was already being produced and was successful before the pandemic.
I remember the explanation given at the time the stock price jumped by the analysis was large order placed by Hertz (which was fresh after decorating bankruptcy).

2… Trump has expanded the national debt more than any other President in history, and is so astoundingly economically incompetent he wants to remove all (?) taxes and replace this with a 20% across the board import tariff, which would basically detonate the economy.

This is a guy who was willing to compromise workplace safety simply because he doesn’t like high vis colors. Who fired an entire department that was in the middle of work that’s critical to the future of the company, simply because he was upset that their boss tried to argue that they shouldn’t gut the team arbitrarily.
Efficiency I can understand, it’s a rational priority to pursue. Elon is a mentally unstable weirdo who either doesn’t care how much damage he does to the business, or is so disconnected from reality that he can’t really understand what he’s doing.
