I remember some decade or so ago i watched a little documentary where they build a huge ass new stadium in texas. The sheer size of that thing was repulsive. But the worst part was that they were really proud that they can close the roof and cool it down with the biggest a/c i have ever seen. They are cooked. I don’t even see the point of living somewhere where you can’t even exist outside. I once met a girl from texas abroad and every time someone mentioned that it was hot, she chimes in and said: actually back in Texas it’s way hotter and so on. After talking to her for a few days i realised that yeah, while it’s way hotter there, she doesn’t spend any time outside. Air-conditioned home, air-conditioned car, air conditioned home to air conditioned workplace.
“allowed to sue” just means they can try it - doesn’t mean they’ve actually got a shot. Let’s see what their case looks like…
“Petitioner is a practicing Catholic who believes that God created each person as male or female, that the complementary sexes reflect the image of God, that sex cannot be altered, and that rejection of one’s biological sex is a rejection of the image of God in that person,” the lawsuit reads.
Not gonna say it won’t work, cuz our courts are dumb as shit sometimes, but she’s literally asking a judge to enforce her religion on another student. That’s unconstitutional as fuck.
Petitioner is a practicing bigot who wants to abuse secular courts to force everyone to follow the rules set out in their favorite fan fiction.
Any judge siding with petitioner would be in violation of their oath to uphold the constitution and as such should be immediately impeached, disrobed* and disbarred.
This also reveals how political the end decision is. The liberals didn’t sign on to the decision because they thought it was the correct one, they signed on to a compromise to get a favorable ruling that gives the middle-conservatives some cover.

Eh not really. MBFC is a website ran by some random man from North Carolina. It’s his opinions on what’s biased and what isn’t.
For example he will rate you lower if you’re critical of Israel. Meanwhile you can be a literal propaganda channel, RFA, and he will rate you highly as unbiased.
