Whelp, anyone who took bets on him acting like a war hero over this can now go collect your winnings - which is just more listening to Trump unfortunately.
Exactly. Especially if the administration was bully-friendly, which they often are. My daughter was so bullied at her middle school that we ended up having to take her out and put her in online school because the administration didn’t give a shit. The one time we went so apoplectic that they were forced to act, they made the bullies apologize to her and her apologize to the bullies. Which, of course, made things worse.
One of my daughter’s best friends is still in that school and he is trans. Some girl was harassing him and being incredibly bigoted to him and he finally turned around and slapped her for it. Guess which one of them got suspended and which one wasn’t even finger-wagged at? Hint: it wasn’t the girl that got suspended.
I didn’t, but you did. We know the kid has issues, thank you for pointing that out.
But even though my comment is a sarcastic, throw-away response to cope with the heinous news, I do have a point. How did a 12-year-old know to “fix” the crime scene?
I remember when there was all kinds of brouhaha about how america would never ever turn into another islamic state or taliban. Seems that has been decidedly forgotten
Why was a security camera in the bedroom? Or was it somewhere else but you could see in the bedroom? Am I the only one who finds this odd, or is this a common thing to have for 12 and/or 8 year olds?
Some people are surveillance’d out. I personally find it weird when people have fuckin Alexa or Google assistant in their house. Like u really want Bezos listening to your every word so u don’t have to walk 3 feet to the light switch? Different strokes I guess, but I don’t want a doorbell cam n I for sure don’t want cam(s) inside my fucking house especially ones connected to multinational conglomerates that are going to use it to spy on me n sell me ads.
I’m semantically torn here. He did (narrowly) take a bullet and shooting on politicians is an attack on Democracy. On the other hand he’s not exactly on friendly terms with this whole Democracy concept… In case of friendly fire, can you say you took a bullet for your enemy?
They should be taken over by the state completely and turned into a public utility with the purpose of reliably instead of profit. Being a heavily regulated private company is the worse of both worlds.
What consequences the STATE will face. The grid is owned and regulated by ERCOT, Center point and other energy companies are contracted to maintain and repair the grid but they don’t own it.
