Here in Denmark we also pay according to the risk profile of the area.
So isn’t this more because of higher crime rate? And not actually related to skin color?
I worked for a car insurance company in Spain. One of the things that would make rates skyrocket was the postal code. It all comes down to statistics.
As an example, an insurance covering the car glasses in Lanzarote cost triple than in say Tenerife. And it has nothing to do with crime in this case because you’d argue that Tenerife has a higher number of crimes than Lanzarote. However, because of the terrain in Lanzarote, it’s extremely frequent to break your windshield or any other window because there’s volcanic ash everywhere.
To paraphrase: “The Houthis entered this war under the rather childish delusion that they were going to bomb everybody else and nobody was going to bomb them.”
Maybe don’t bomb people, and, failing that, don’t be surprised when they bomb you back.
Funnier still how the headlines on certain publications work. Houthis bomb Israel, Israel bombs them back; headline is “Israel bombs Yemen in Escalation with Houthis”.
I remember when Trump separated Mexican children from their parents and kept them in actual cages while moving their parents several states away without keeping any records of which children go with which parents. Lovely guy.
