Inflation is cooling because Americans are living paycheck to paycheck.
Inflation was never going to come down until people ran out of money. Basic economics unfortunately. When people are tight on money and cut down on spending, demand drops. And with demand dropping inflation goes down.
Look, we have a bastardized version of right to self repair, so they should just give it back to the owner. He might have problems fixing it, but still.

The ~35% blue voters in red states does not “deserve” to have their rights trampled. Nor do voters in blue states “deserve” having their rights crushed because land gets more votes.
I think this is one of the extreme examples of revenge instead of rehabilitation. It’s a prime breeding ground for control freaks who want to punish those that break the rules, and will stop at nothing to try to accomplish this by dealing out damage via a morality defense. And I think a lot of parents know this, at some level, as revenge for not conforming to their definition of normalcy. “Retribution for being bad.” Like mob mentality.
Why? Once again they were inept in the worst possible way. They could have got trigger happy and shot the guy before it happened or they could have fucked off completely and let him take his shot. But no, they managed the worst possible outcome, trumps a martyr and still above ground, spouting bile.
