I mowed this morning, pruned trees in my yard, took a nice swim, went and had a nice lunch at a greek restaurant and am now napping with my dog reading Chinese leftists on Lemmy that hate America and NATO. What a life!
I got everything done today. Laundry, grocery shopping, meal prep. Even took down a couple wasp nests that I blasted in the wee hours yesterday morning.
So that means that tomorrow there is no responsibility so I can and probably will do exactly as depicted in the picture.
What a life!
(As to the wasp nests, I’m generally live and let live but these two straddled my door and were making it dangerous to leave or enter the house, so it was them or me. Sorry little wasp buddies)
I read about you doing all that, so I’m going to claim 25% vicarious accomplishment for those for my weekend. This is solely for internal auditing purposes, of course.
Many chronic conditions don’t look like living in a full body cast but may be just as debilitating, which results in many people with chronic illnesses being told at various points in their lives that they should be carrying on normally because they don’t look sick.
Yep. Imagine being bedridden with a severe illness and when people who don’t understand meet you (which is most people) they go “get up and live your life” or “get up and do X”
A lot of people (even a few doctors!) brain seems not able to comprehend that someone could be sick and not get better ie. chronic illness.
