I’m very confused, with the farm bill being passed doesn’t every state have the opportunity for delta 8 and delta 9 products? (Unless of course you live in a fucked state that made sure to pass a law against it after it was passed) I’m deep in the Bible belt and we have THC products at almost every store…
It’s simply not as effective psychoactively due to its chemical structure. This is why it can be sold legally, due to the chemical structure differing from Delta-9 THC. As a long time cannabis user, delta 8 does absolutely nothing for me.
With no more than .3% of THC. Delta-9 females produce hemp, so yes, you can buy hemp and CBD from a plant that produces the Delta-9 compound, but no, it will not have a significant amount of THC to be classified as cannabis on the scheduled drug list.
In short, according to the FDA, those products you see in those stores are not classified as marijuana.
If they are legal, they are required to be FDA approved and not classified as marijuana. I am also in the Bible belt for reference and anything store bought has never done anything for me, gummies or otherwise.
You can see that it says cannabinoid on the packaging, maybe if you have super low tolerance or are not and experienced smoker you might get a slight buzz, nothing compared to the real thing. I provided my research and have spoken from personal experience. Sorry but that’s not marijuana according to the FDA, and no, they do not do anything for me.
Trust me they have the delta 9 symbol with the thcp and everything, you may as well reference your own pictures. Seeing as I don’t buy them and stick to the actual thing I don’t have any of the products readily available to me.
Delta-9 gummies are the real-deal. I can’t tell the difference between THCA flower and regular flower (I’m pretty sure it’s just uncured bud). They also make THCA concentrates.
That’s fair, although that process happening as you smoke it once again doesn’t compare for me. I’m not here to argue at all, just stating what I know about this stuff. I’ll catch my buzz from my own, if you catch a buzz from THCA then go crazy. I just don’t.
Not really, no. It can have tiny, tiny percentages of Delta 9. Anything more than, iirc, 0.3% Delta 9 thc is considered full blown cannabis and is still federally illegal.
For comparison, the thc carts I vape are between 80-90% Delta 9 thc. But I live in a legal state.
80-90 percent Delta 9 doesn’t mean anything to me… 80-90 percent of what? Tell me how many grams or milligrams of d9 or whatever is in each of the typical products that you use please or shoot a URL or pic. I’m genuinely interested in what you think is different.
…80-90 percent of Delta 9 thc. Literally what are you confused about? The size of the cart has nothing to do with how potent the actual thc concentration is.
I buy 1g carts, which means there is .8-.9g of delta 9 thc in them. The 3g carts you showed in another comment legally cannot be more than 0.3% delta 9 thc, which means at MOST they contain .009g of delta 9 thc, 100 times less than what I can get in a single gram from a actual dispensary cart. That’s about how much I can get in a couple hits, let alone the whole cart 🤣.
It’s the hemp plants that they derive the compound from that can only contain .3%, so with flower that is the case. the carts I showed have that many mg of delta 9 suspended in the liquid. Your whole argument just fell apart on itself 1g cart is 1000mg of delta 9, no one measures a compound in percentages unless you are producing an impure chemical. Do you not understand? It’s not the weight of the cartridge, it’s the amount of the active compound that is in cart… does that make sense? “The latest evolution is hemp-derived delta-9 THC.
the carts I showed have that many mg of delta 9 suspended in the liquid.
No, they literally do not. Literally all of them have lab results on their websites. The first one had about 9mg/g, the second one about 1.4mg/g, and the last had none at all. Also, even counting delta 8 thc they were all still only in the 70-80% range. Regardless of whether the first two are legal or not(I have a feeling they’re not and enforcement is just weak), even the stronger one is only a 10th of what I get for the same price. And I live in one of the most expensive legal states by far. Just get normal weed from a dealer at that point if you’re in an illegal state, it’ll be stronger.
Sooo your source is a sketchy website with a quote claiming they can be “functionally identical”(whatever that even actually means), but without any actual lab testing of the thc concentrations to back that up. Oh, and the article specifically mentions how these are at best questionably legal to sell, and the fda has actively warned against them.
Also, edibles are a completely different story than concentrates. You can pack a bunch of delta 9 in and still be compliant because the actual food aspect of the edible counts towards the total concentration. 15mg of delta 9 thc in a 5g piece of chocolate is no big deal. For a single “farm bill compliant” vape cart to have the same amount(by weight) of delta 9 thc in it as my 1g dispensary cart, though, it would have to be oh… about 10 ounces(edited to correct, originally said pounds) of other junk.
You are right, I should never use anything that is not lab tested and completely compliant. I bet you get sooo much higher than me. Your pp I mean vape is bigger than mine 😔
There’s no insult here…you obviously use a lot of THC and you need more and more to get your same high…I’m just once or twice a week user and everything that is available in my area more than does the job. Congratulations… you smoke a lot of weed, maybe you will get an award one day… you want to go on about your legal states carts and how you are such a junkie that you need that much to feel it…go ahead…
Lmao “no insults here” immediately followed by more petty insults, okay bud. Love how you were all gung-ho about how primo your shit is and has “3g of delta 9” until I pull out the receipts and suddenly it’s all “well it’s good enough for me”, and “who cares about testing their drugs”(people who aren’t fucking stupid?), and “well you’re just a junkie”(really, no insults here? Ok lmao). Newsflash my guy, there’s nothing special about the carts I buy, nor is my tolerance particularly high. That’s just how strong actual concentrates are supposed to be, so you only need a hit or two at a time.
Your stuff is just literally weaker than ditch weed. Congrats if that gets you high, but it doesn’t change the fact you were spreading mad misinformation before and are salty I called you out about it.
I took a conceal carry course and one of the main reasons they say to do it is safety. If you are open carrying in a store and someone wants to rob it they will either get scared off or take you out first. It’s not worth the risk. That and I would always worry about someone just rushing me and trying to take/use it.
Cops / military open carry because they already have the uniform, and the implications that has (legal use of force, training, and back up). Private citizens are safer if they conceal carry for a number of reasons, here are two:
Privacy. Some people get intimidated and / or think open carry is a political statement. Which it is sometimes, but not usually. If you open carry, it’s better to do in appropriate settings and with groups. Day to day carry, it is better to just blend in with the crowd.
Security/safety. If you open carry you need to be prepared for someone trying to disarm you or shoot you first, because they know where your weapon is, and that you have it. It’s not really worth the deterant value. In conflict it’s better to have the element of surprise rather than be surprised by someone who knows who has a gun, and where they are.
All addiction advertising should be illegal… Imagine struggling with withdrawal and giving up, and then cigarettes appear, bam!
Or alcohol - addicts actually need that shit to get through the day. The offramp for these things needs planning and consistency and this is just reinforcing the impulses
Sometimes merely purchasing things is an addiction, one that many members of my family have. Adtech feels like a weapon designed to exploit anxiety and dopamine pathways.
