title really… got a few games where this oldschool TV error shows instead of the actual main screen, the same happens with Dragons Dogma Dark Arisen. It’s a super weird thing, as before this appears the actual loading screen is present, but this error-image just decides to slowly fade in…?

tl;dr large gaming performance over stock CPU scheduler when there is a heavy CPU task running in background...

I’ve been playing LoL since a long time - practically since my friends etc. started it in 2009. I was on windows back then and moved slowly and slowly to Linux via dual boot. These days I only used windows for gaming and Linux (Ubuntu) for everything else....

I want to buy a gaming laptop from mainstream brands like asus, msi, hp. I wish to install linux for gaming....

Anyone can help me? I wasn’t able to find any solution for this. The controller works via USB-C just fine but I only have a very short cable, I borrowed the controller from a friend to try it and don’t have the original cable but I was intending to play via Bluetooth anyways....

Like many old PC games, the game comes with an activation-code on the back of the case. The installer asks me for the 25 digit code on the case. I’ve tried the latest version of Pop!_OS since I heard people have had good experiences with that, but I get various errors when starting SteamVR (some bluetooth errors, and some others that I don’t remember the codes for) that...

I’m using arch with KDE Wayland and nvidia, ever since I did fresh install cyberpunk 2077 launches with a balck screen in the launcher, but I can still click elements in it, and trying to launch the game prompts and error saying its currupted. I have uninstalled and reinstalled with no avial. Any advice?
