I installed Fedora 39 on an old iMac I had with a fusion drive (128GB SSD +1TB spinning disk.)...

The freezing happen approx once per day, seems more often when connected to my android mobile hotspot (may be unrelated)....

When I run open RGB my Mouse shows up but not my keyboard and I’m not familiar with how to read hexadecimal so using Wireshark does not help me to add a new keyboard to open RGB

I just upgraded my nvidia driver and kernel on tumbleweed and now my main monitor can’t go to 240hz without losing input. Am I the only one? It works fine on 60 and could work perfectly on 240hz before the update

So I installed Debian 12 with btrfs and apparently it only uses a single subvolume rootfs. I would like to have my /home in a separate subvolume (and possibly /var too I guess) and with a flat subvolume structure. I started figuring out on how to do it and I feel like I’m not entirely sure yet so I need a sanity check....

Tldr; Have tested multiple different Ryzen 7000 configurations on various kernels, and the power draw just seems really bad....

was just a quick question – on the GTK side of things, we have the progression of LXDE → XFCE → Gnome – but on the Qt side of things, with LXQT → ??? → Plasma, there’s kind of a missing middle option?

So I’ve got cyberpunk phantom liberty 2.0 but to update to 2.1 heroic game launcher wants me to download the hole game again, gog galaxy through wine is not an option so I’m looking at xdelta3 and innoextract to manually patch game files. But I’m hitting a break wall and seems to fail with every attempt using xdelta3

OK so on windows my soundblaster x4 can output both the spdif digital output thing and the analog audio to my headphones at the same time and use the volume knob to adjust the volume of them so one gets louder the other quieter....
