Ubuntu just started renaming files while exporting (sending over mail, KDE Connect, Whatsapp web). The folder is my google drive, connected to my google drive. Sometimes it looses its file ending/type as well. The file is called something like: “1Kfhgsji2rjfIS-fi3oo598nf8ajlfoi.pdf”...

Update: it worked without any issues after i tried a different USB stick with a different ISO. Which is weird, because I had installed LMDE on several machines with exactly this stick. I guess the ways of our Lord and Saviour are mysterious....

I cerrently on “colemak” layout and wanna switch to “colemak-dh” but dunno how to set it up. Im on arch + hyprland (wayland) setup.

I use rEFInd as my boot manager and sometimes I like to dual boot a new linux distro (just to try out) which I install with a live USB. Unfortunately, after installing, GRUB has always taken the reigns and it becomes a slight inconvenience to get back to rEFInd every time....

Been running endeavor OS on my MSI delta 15 (all AMD with no nvidia card) with KDE and it switches between integrated and dgpu like it should. Lately, when booting up my linux machine (Fedora 39 KDE), everything looks good until about 30s after I log in. Then both screens go black with no output, and shortly after that they light up as if there is a signal but I don’t seen anything....
