What you’re refering to as iPad OS, is in fact, GNU/Unix/NextSTEP/Mac OS X/iPad OS, or as I’ve recently taken to calling it, GNU plus Unix plus NextSTEP plus Mac OS X plus iPad OS. iPad OS is not an operating system unto itself, but rather another closed source component of a fully functioning Apple system made useful by the NextSTEP corelibs, shell utilities and vital system components comprising a full OS more or less abiding to POSIX.

They need your money to pay their mortgage. Looks like you are paying for their house. I guess it’s one thing if that house is entirely occupied by you, but I’ve had this very same situation where I’m renting their basement yet paying $1300 (which was actually more than their mortgage)

It’s so fucking disgusting and insulting to not only not be able to afford your own home because of all this b.s, but to also be paying for someone else’s home…

It’s not extinct and won’t go extinct. It doesn’t live in its natural range but there are wild stands outside which haven’t been exposed to chestnut blight, and there’s a genetically engineered variety which is resistant to the disease and which may be released into the wild soon.

Thank goodness for that. I heard there is a French variety that comes to crop within about twelve years, that also has resistance to chestnut blight. I was pleased, very pleased.

Thipical landlord in my country let you live in the shit with black wall full of humidity and no heater with an high price. And then they will also have the habits to Evict you if they don’t want to pay taxes. And prefer to leave you in the street. So I think that good landlord exists but most of them are just people that want money without give to you the bare minimum to live.
