Caramelized onion, garlic, basil, and goat cheese Dutch Baby breakfast from this morning. Definitely going into the favorites category.
Frying the bacon bits for 6 minutes before adding the sauce = yum.
I’m usually very bad at decorating cake, so hopefully this one is nice enough to be considered food porn!
This was my first attempt at making farinata. It could have used a little more bake time but it was great. It’s simple but full of flavour I would definitely make it again and experiment with toppings.
I finally found some time to figure out my meat grinder. I wanted to start simple so I figured i could try to make chicken nuggets. ended up making about 50 good-sized nuggets....
I swap the meat out between chicken and beef, but I cook once every 8-12 days. The secret is the spicy mayo/teriyaki sauce with homemade fried rice. Oh and that jar of blueberries, that is my first attempt at basic fermentation!
I’ve been experimenting with different pasta sauces the past two weeks and wanted to share my progress....

On the road and wanted something other than chain food. Came across a little place making jerked food....
When the overwhelming vulnerability of creation is too much, sometimes you just gotta have warm soup in front of a hot fire.
Made pineapple coconut curry over roasted cauliflower and a fresh batch of naan. Delicious.
This and the dogs are my favorite parts of Chicago!
This came out really tasty! After destroying the first batch I figured out it works much better if you take out the little air flow grill plate from the bottom and just cook it directly on the pan....
Okay, so it looks like our main character eats her egg on the side, but the cookbook recipe was for the raw egg in the rice, so I did both. And of course, miso soup. Ready to start the day!
