Currowan: a Story of Fire and a Community During Australia’s Worst Summer...
I learned to read in grade school like pretty much everyone else I know, and I remember really enjoying reading for a very narrow portion of my younger years. When reading books became a compulsary part of school, that enjoyment just vanished, and video games ended up filling that void of “solitary passtime”. I dont even...
Did many of you even have much nonfiction?...
Is there any book app on iOS that allows Face ID or Passlock?...

Writing a Good Bad Guy in Books (In Fact any media) is the “classic choice” sometimes they are really poorly made, and don’t work. Other times, they are loved so much that when the character was only added to kill the hero, they end up becoming an Icon

I like the progression elements of a weak/underpowered MC growing into a powerhouse over the course of the story, and I REALLY like said powerhouse using that strength to pay back...
After listening to a few clips of The Silmarillion narrated by Andy Serkis, I am interested in seeing if I could actually get used to listening to audiobooks. I’m rereading Miss Peregrine’s Home For Peculiar Children because I learned there are 3 new books (well, new for me) that I’m planning to read next.
I hope this is allowed here, if not, feel free to remove my post, mods...

I have a lot of time to fill with audio, but audiobooks are challenging for me because I have trouble paying attention consistently enough and processing physical descriptions fast enough to keep up with the narrator. I end up losing my place or having to rewind a lot. Slowing down playback doesn’t help/introduces other...
I am reading Life and Death: Twilight Reimagined and i was wondering if there are other books that have a similar love story/development of their relationship, I don’t care if the story is about vampires, i am just interested in the romance but I prefer a fantasy background if possible
This book is definitely more enjoyable than the previous one (Fortune’s Favorites) probably because the plot is more streamlined and well paced. The focus of the narrative is more on political intrigue rather than military campaigns, making it more interesting than previous books, in my opinion. Caesar comes across as...
