where is an OK place to experiment with bots?

Accounts which solely post advertisements, or persistently post them may be terminated.

I’ve had my YT history off for years, today I was prompted to check the setting. I kept it off, now my Home feed is just a prompt to turn it on. I actually like it.
The platform seems to be converging on a Reddit-like culture complete with arguments, rage bait and trolling as the normies pour in.
I assume there are people who read these things, otherwise companies wouldn’t send me so many of them. I seem to get daily spam from literally any company I’ve ever interacted with in any way, and they are long boys full of text and pictures that Thunderbird helpfully hides from me but I presume are full of jagged brightly...
The first thing that comes to mind is a big plastic bin filled with burnt burgers for 4 for a dollar....
I just realised I hit upvote on just about every single post and most comments kind of instinctively, meanwhile think like 5 mins before downvoting....
Writing had always been my go to medium but more visual mediums have become appealimg to me recently.
What are advantages of it and also how said mailing list works? (In case of software development)
Something I’ve always noticed and am going through now. Sometimes I’ll drink too much the night before and be concerned about a hangover the next morning. Morning comes, and almost always my first thought is “gee I feel like shit but actually this is way less bad then I was expecting” this misplaced optimism gets washed...
Specially the ones where you have to find stuff....

As the titled mentioned, is there anything that we should do to avoid undesirable life consequences?
It happened to my car last week, it got towed to a mechanic and I’m yet to hear back. I don’t know a lot about cars, so I’m hoping I’ll learn something here and be able to tell if the mechanic tries to rip me off....
How is you experience using them ? (I know BlueSky is invite only, but perhaps someone got lucky) I registered in Mastodon recently and i’m getting the same feeling(and problems) when started using lemmy.
There are a number of rating sites out there, sometimes with conflicting information. What do you go to when you want to donate, especially when you want to look for a particular issue/crisis/disaster....
There are simply some communities I can’t find on Lemmy. For example, I use subreddits based on admissions to specific colleges that would never be able to function on Lemmy due to its size. I’d much prefer to abandon Reddit altogether but the information I need is usually only there.
I was going through the modlog today and found that this comment posted to lemmy.ml was simply removed for being “reactionary”....
