I watch a lot of commentary channels on YouTube. My feed is filled with hot takes on the latest online trends and happenings, often dealing with topics like racism, sexism, abuse, and harassment. More and more, I’ve noticed YouTubers bleeping (or rather muting) words that might be flagged as being “advertiser unfriendly”...

I am an American visiting Kuala Lumpur on business. I dress pretty casually - t-shirt tucked in jeans/nice travel pants, Adidas Samba sneakers, and the like. Think casualwear from Old Navy, Uniqlo, H&M, etc. I never needed to dress business formal for my job, so I don’t really have business formal clothing....

My house has a sliding glass door as the main entrance and I need a solution to have it secure from tiny hands. My problem is it needs to be able to unlock and lock on both sides of the door so a pin drop or cross bar won’t work.

So I was asked this by my friends kid. Would you rather live in the most boring place in the world, or be a hat? So to spice it up a little here are some rules....

I have been using a Pebble Time Steel for years even after their acquisition by Garmin Someone corrected me it was FitBit not Garmin thanks to Rebble, a modded firmware that gives it new life, but I would like a smartwatch that can track my heart rate....

For example, if I wanted to always see rows 5, 10 and 15, as far as I can tell, I would have to freeze every row from 1 to 15. But is it possible to only freeze the specified rows so that if I scrolled down, the first four rows could be 5, 10, 15 and 20.

I think a little of it would go a long way for me, personally, but I’m curious about others experiences.

If mankind started out without any negative traits that like greed, ego, anger etc., how would it shape our civilization up to this date? Would we have created the perfect utopia or made ourselves extinct long ago? Are our flaws holding us down or are they the reason our society made it to this point?

I find myself checking out pretty often and just making myself feel bad about the state of the world, or killing half an hour on stupid games that I could 100% live without. This is probably pretty common, and I’m wondering what other people have found as a way to do more productive things with their phones in the downtime.

I know a lot of people but I find it really difficult to maintain contact with most of them. I can manage a few in my close circle and some acquaintances but definitely not more than 20 people....
