It is a little hard to explain but here’s what I’m trying to accomplish....

I’ll be honest, I think for OnePlus 8 pro, and I know no other phone that this applies to. That the stock OS is the best one, not the features or customizability, but OPPO did something where it’s way more stable than any custom rom I can get installed....

Does anyone have good experience with android tablets, and possibly replacing the OS? I see some interesting options from Google, lenovo, one plus, etc… I imagine the pixel one will be the easiest to load a new OS to, but I also wonder about the tablet support of things like lineage or graphine....

I was looking at some new phones recently and phones made in Asia (Xiaomi, Huawei, Samsung) seem to have the same design to me. They all seem to have lots of padding on UI elements, seem to use the same fonts, and seem to resemble a shared design language. They seem to look different from something like stock Android or a Pixel....

Thanks Moto, just 2.5 months behind. I think they will do a major version update sometime, then 1 more security patch and that’s it? That’s what they did with my previous phone. It wasn’t ideal but tbh it didn’t bother me that much....
