Here’s a minor mystery. Maybe someone can shed some light:...

Here’s a minor mystery. Maybe someone can shed some light:...
hi, I thought I read someone’s post about above somewhere but didn’t save it and I don’t think we can yet search communities so does anyone know of such app please? tx
Lemmy is a place for people to have thoughtful conversations as well as dumb fun, and having bot comments severely impacts this experience. Therefore, for c/android, we would like to only use the minimum number of bots only as needed by the community....
We have received numerous reports from users about the closure of the c/android community. While we fully support the original community owners’ decision to move to another instance, it will eventually be necessary to open up the community on Lemmy.world. The beauty of the fediverse is that multiple communities on the same...
TLDR: To promote unity and simplicity, we’re ‘merging’ with c/Android over at lemdro.id (a new, tech-focused Lemmy server!)...
Almost all mobile editors that I’ve seen just allow you put filters/text/etc over them....
Basically title. Anyone have suggestions on a good app for daily to do lists with a home screen widget for easy viewing and marking items off?
I’ve recently decided to try and degoogle my life, or at least lessgoogle it. One app I use regularly is GoogleVoice. It works really well to keep my work and personal numbers separated. Hey Android enthusiasts!...
After only 3 short years my Google Pixel 4A is EOL. It still works perfectly fine, but since our entire lives run through our phones I don’t feel safe trusting my bank accounts and so on to a phone without security updates. I feel like I wasn’t quite aware how short the supported time would be when i bought it....
Hi!...

Hey guys, I’m using Home Assistant to set alarms on my phone and its working fine. I can set alarm time with a message using this string in my yaml file:...

Just open Messages for Web on your other phone and link it to your main phone. Then add a shortcut to homescreen (install the web app from chome menu). The experience is so great you can’t tell it from the native Messages app.
So, I’m not sure if anyone knows the answer to this, but can Google know what I’m typing or has any triggers if certain words are spelled out or my passwords are being typed out?...
Has anyone noticed that apps on F-Droid or that you just get from GitHub are just better than the ultra-popular apps on the play store? Most of them are open source and have no ads or trackers. But this isn’t true on the Play Store at all....
