I’m not sure. Are the stairs downstairs so short that you couldn’t have distributed the height of the three weird steps among them? If not, you’d have an even floor upstairs.
I will never unsee Gomez throwing his whole hand into the snap. Lurch has a bit of wrist flick, but Gomez is going whole enchilada, I wonder if it’s his fingers snapping or his wrists.
I asked the vet about this, and she said they barely give these out anymore as it’s not needed. She followed up with cats being generally smarter than dogs when it comes to not kicking their wounds too much. But will obviously vary from cat to cat.
Ours is just resting and not touching her wound at all, so don’t see the need for a cone or collar.
Traditionally we use the term “spayed” for female cats and “neutered” for males. It’s also common to say they’ve been “fixed”, which applies to either sex.
They probably have to use something like that a lot, like telling female employees: “You should be comfortable with this type of behavior at the office”
