So help me, I worked as a lifeguard this summer and my manager comes in one day and asks me how I would perform cpr on a giraffe and showed me this image.
It was posted on the wall of our break room. Nobody could provide a solid answer.
The music shop at the mall near me had those headphones but only like 10 albums that were able to demo. And I’m pretty sure the demo was just bits of the songs. I definitely bought plenty of CDs having heard only one track or fewer.
Oh, that sucks. Mine had like some headphones at the counter with a few buttons in the counter itself. And you would just hand the person behind the counter the cd you wanted to listen to and they’d put it in.
But from what I saw on old footage was they just had a line of a few turntables with headphones and you could just listen to the records.
This may have been the mom and pop shops and not the chain shops. Though I don’t know about that.
Alternate take - spend 3 minutes downloading a 3 minute song. Buy the album. The rest of the album blows. You just worked for two hours to pay for it in your minimum wage after school casual job
Where’s the fun of just going in without buildup? You don’t just start a movie with the villain executing his plan, you build up the character, motive, and suspended to the moment. Same with sex.
I'm a fraud/was making a joke. I love kissing. I'd love to be a part of one someday... But I'm glad this thread has provided vindication for your hatred of it.
The woman in the meme is supposed to say something unreasonable, and that makes sense because she’s clearly emotional and angry. Her correctly solving the puzzle doesn’t align with her picture.
Then we’ve replaced the cat with Skeltor… for what? I guess him being wrong makes more sense than the cat because the cat is usually correct, or just minding their own business, but why not use the meme with the monkey looking sideways? Or why don’t we use the Winnie the Pooh meme?
It just seems like someone slapped together three images they saw on Reddit without really trying to make sense. And for some reason people up vote this. Idk.
Maybe to you. If this is the kind of content that you like and gets upvotes in this community then y’all have fun with it; it’s not harming anyone. I just commented after seeing it on All because I only just noticed the trend of memes being used differently than they used to be.
