Making a community and expecting everyone else to do the work for you isn’t how these things usually work, after the first few months of the service anyway. You gotta have the people that want to make the content first, which usually means you need to do the initial posting yourself to get the ball rolling.
This is why we get so many created communities with a handful of subscribers and no posts. It’s not the idea that makes a community, it’s the posters. The content creators.
Internet communities generally need to be led from the front, not from the rear. It’d be like starting a new business but not wanting to do any of the tasks yourself.
Please don’t. This subreddit exists to repost content and it does it by referencing a show older than most of its users. We don’t need to bring this low quality content to lemmy
Sometimes there is a minimum advertised price that manufacturers will allow vendors to sell at publicly, and the price in cart is a way that vendors get around it. If that’s what’s happening here, OP might be getting a really good price. I don’t think this is a sinister plot by AMZN.
The recent Apple TV interface update is TERRIBLE too. They’re taking up more space with less content so I can’t see more than two or three saved videos in my playlist at a time. And it’s a pain in the ass to even get to a playlist now. Really terrible, but I love some of the creators, so I don’t know what else to do.
