Less votes from his super-conservative followers maybe?

The ones not going for him already have a multitude of other things which make him a no-go.

Don’t need to resort to fake ass photos for that. Diminishes the validity of all the real shit.

There are also times when honesty can only get you so far. This is especially true when dealing people that don’t believe in validated facts/science. (We still have flat-earthers, don’t we?)

Looks really cool! You could even recreate say: Crust( seasoned) Cheese layer Mashed potatoes/Sweet corn A1 steak sauce

Though, I’m vegan, gluten free, & non-GMO.

American Healthcare > Canadian Healthcare - 3 to 7 months for an MRI in Canada

MacNCheezus OP ,
@MacNCheezus@lemmy.today avatar
afraid_of_zombies ,

Funny picture, not accurate, but pretty funny. The US is the only developed nation with a life expectancy going down. Hovering around a low established in 1996. Canada on the other hand continues to increase with a tiny rate of growth dip during the worse of Covid. Worse pandemic in its history and all she gets it from it was people were living longer each year at a slower rate.

MacNCheezus OP ,
@MacNCheezus@lemmy.today avatar

Is that before or after accounting for people who opted for MAID?

HubertManne ,

canadian healthcare > american healthcare - denied preauthorization for an MRI

Player2 ,

Having lived in both, Canadian healthcare >>> American healthcare. Walking out of a hospital after they saved your life with a bill of $0 is very nice in my experience.

NikkiDimes ,

Canadian Healthcare is better if you’re immediately dying, US Healthcare is better if you’re slowly dying…and have money. Those who do not have money need not apply.

afraid_of_zombies ,

The proceeding was a paid message brought to you by Atena.

Atena, the last time we paid out was 1998 and we fired the person who did that so it won’t happen again.

Glytch ,

Hey, that’s how long the wait is at Mayo (unless you’re part of the Saudi or Jordanian royal families).

Timecircleline ,

The Canadian system is triaged according to priority, as opposed to who can or can’t afford it. I’ve had several MRIs, including one during the height of COVID, and have never waited more than a few weeks. One was scheduled a couple of months out and then moved up after a radiologist reviewed my x-rays. Granted one of them was at 3am but would rather have answers and an inconvenient appointment time

Leviathan ,

I never understand this, the last time I needed an MRI I got it done within the same day. Canadian healthcare can have its downsides but when you need something you get it quick.

If the whale is closer to the camera than America, doesn’t that mean that it’s still to scale but has a warped perspective?

Hey! What’s this thing suddenly coming towards me very fast? Very very fast. So big and flat and round, it needs a big wide sounding name like … ow … ound … round … ground! That’s it! That’s a good name – ground!

I wonder if it will be friends with me?
