I’m trying to get a job in IT that will (hopefully) pay more than a usual 9 to 5. I’m been daily driving Linux exclusively for about 2 1/2 years now and I’m trying to improve my skills to the point that I could be considered a so-called “power user.” My question is this: will this increase my hiring chances...

As far as I can tell, the only platform that I found with medium level of reliability is metacritic....

So I uninstalled Zenless Zone Zero yesterday via Wine, and it seems it just deleted every game, KDE configs, etc....

Has it grown like people have kept predicting? or is this peak lemmy? Did Peak Lemmy already happen?

So NVIDIA just doesn’t cut it on Linux/proton I’ve come to learn. Looking at the best bang//buck, it this the AMD card people are flocking to? 7800 XT maybe?

Someone hacked a pregnancy test to play doom. There used to be a Reddit sub /r/itrunsdoom for unconventional media to run doom on.

Saw Louis Rossmans original video on the app and figured (and it may well have been) it would be buggy and awful at that point. Decided to gike it a try, the app has all the options I could want for watching youtube, it’s multiplatform to a much greater degree than Newpipe and it’s forks....

Anybody brew at work? If so, what’s your setup/process? I’m fortunate enough to have free access to a shared automatic espresso machine (beans not pods) so the drive to do this is not super strong. I wrote about my experience with the pipamoka device for travel, and I’m thinking it might make for a pretty simple at work...
