I took a quick read of the comments and I apologize in advance if this has been suggested already.
I use a self hosted DNS server (AdGuardHome) I was using TechnitiumDNS for a long while, but moved over to the other recently so I could do some more blocking as needed (adult special needs house dweller sometimes needs limited internet). It also acts as a DHCP Server so it takes the role of both the DHCP assignments away from the router. As it so happens, this week, I got to experience the benefit of having this setup live when my main router also went down, I was able to switch to a spare router (My ISP provided one) and all I had to do was turn the DHCP off and optionally point the DNS To my AdGuardHome address, set the SSID’s up and I was in business. All of my devices happily reconnected and grabbed their assigned IP’s.
In short, if you have a spare computer, SBC such as a raspberry PI or whatnot, you can easily host something like that and not have to worry about setting those again.
I don’t mind ads when they’re reasonable. If it helps fund your website at all, advertise away. But when there’s a sticky banner plus an autoplay video ad reducing my mobile viewport to a ridiculous degree, and the X buttons are too small to click and ad loading completely breaks the search bar until it’s done (hi fandom wiki) I want to be able to say “fuck these ads in particular”

As general commercial acts… probably Tad? They were a proto-grunge band that did nothing interesting and vanished once Nirvana took off. They tried being ‘heavier than God’s balls’ and utterly whiffed at out-heavy-ing the then-struggling thrash-metal market. Honestly, not even Slayer thought they could top Reign In Blood, and it wasn’t until 1994’s apparently fantastic heroin glut that albums like Jar Of Flies and When The Kite String Pops started really challenging the limits of chugga-chugga music. Destroy Erase Improve reset the scoreboard in '95, but nobody noticed until years later.
This is an interesting analysis. 'Heavy' is a nebulous enough concept in music that being so definite with assertions like this is basically inviting contention. It can only ever really be a discussion as opposed to anything concretely absolute.
I'm just saying there was plenty going on between '86 and '94 to challenge the limits of chugga-chugga as you put it. And I won't argue against Destroy Erase Improve being a watershed album, and I'd even consider it a respectable stance if you want to say it might be the heaviest record ever if that's your opinion, but it's not like it's an unquestionable monolith that no other records from around or before then could stand up to.
Reading through these comments makes me worry about y’all and maybe the people I interact with on a daily basis.
Like I would understand maybe punching someone to try and “convert” the emotional/mental pain they caused you into actual pain they can understand; to teach them a lesson or open their eyes. Take punching a nazi as an example.
But having “violent sadistic fantasies” especially involving those close to you should probably invoke some level of concern about your mental state and warrant a psych eval.

That said it’s a shame. It’s a very unique way to make a TAC shooter. After 5 or so matches you start to realize the potential for some galaxy brain sized strats and play styles. But man does exhaust your brain trying to keep up with it all in the heat of the moment.
Edit: I wonder if the upcoming NTSYNC to the Linux kernel will affect if these kernel level anticheats are compatible?
My rhcsa expired and I only have experience beyond that. Your task right now is to find a job and the easiest way to do that is to leverage your network. If you don’t have a network, you need to prove that you can commit to a long term plan and learn a skill. Most people do that with degrees. Unfortunately a lot of people have degrees and technology is getting more competitive. That’s where you see school competitions and certifications. If you don’t want to do that, you’ll need to be able to speak competently to the role.
Unfortunately right now I do not recommend platform/devops/sre for anyone breaking into the field. If I create an application today, it’s server less or bring your own dockerfile on a provided machine image. So what are you administrating? Legacy shops will be around for decades, but the future here is layered architecture not os tasks.
