Preaching to women (or anyone) about who they “should be” attracted to is as ignorant as it is wrong: hubris.
Attraction isn’t a choice. What people find attractive is just an emotional reaction. Most likely the primary thing women find attractive about these types of guys is their confidence. Certainly not whining that you’re doing.
Maybe work on yourself more, and worry less about what other people do.
I think is a bit of a desperate move and change of tactics. They've tried to rally support to be able to conventionally push back Russia on their turf, but that failed for multiple reasons, like the slow drip feeding of gear. Ukraine cannot reach critical masses like that.
I also think it's a matter of a shift in support. The "red line" has been moved over and over again. Remember the raids of the pro Ukraine Russian troops into Russia? Some of them used HMMVs and that got some backlash from the US already. Generally back then the common consensus was to not use any western gear on Russian soil, only on the occupied Ukrainian one. Now we see more and more countries loosening their stance and allow Ukraine to strike Russia within their borders using their weapons.
So now they can do something they couldn't really do before, and they're trying new things to hurt the enemy and potentially get some leverage out of it.
The moment when you see the first colossus in Shadow of the Colossus. You've watched a contemplative intro movie that sets the stage, been faced with a desolate land that you're seemingly completely alone in, and charged headlong with only the light shining off your sword to guide you. You've seen nothing but you and your horse moving in this place in the half hour or so you've been playing so far. You've done just enough platforming to know that you're a very normal human with no magical abilities, and if you've swung your sword at all you've seen that you have no real skill with it. You just know that you've got to kill these unseen colossi to hold up your end of the deal with the voice in the sky. And then a building shaped like a gorilla walks past you https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3Ckn0mdFyEU
Anyone else get a lot of “Failed to load media” messages on images? I particularly see them on science memes in both Voyager and Arctic on iOS. Haven’t tested on android yet.
All the time on science memes, try going back to ‘best of all time’. It can also make modding on mobile quite a pain, when you as a mod can’t see the post. Though the failed to load media is, what I have heard not due to the app itself but that the link in the post is broken and the app just has not indexed the post yet. Which is why other apps may show the post correctly because they indexed it before the link broke. However I can not remember where I read that. So it might be completely false.
There’s something so on-the-nose about having “with ads” as part of a subscription tier’s official name. For decades companies have been coming up with euphemisms for their low-cost services (e.g. “economy class” on airlines, “community edition” for freemium software). But now here we are with Disney pretty much saying “Go watch ads you poor bitch”. It’s the death of a euphemism. They’re selling a crappy service, and they aren’t afraid to say it.
Final Fantasy 6, the three mechs marching through the snow in 3d… followed by the emotional impact of the game elevated gaming to another level I had never before seen
Yes. One of my moments is a certain event late in the game where the world map music changes after pounding the player with an oppressive atmosphere and some very low lows for a couple of hours. It’s amazing how well a 16-bit game was able to make it so cathartic.
I remember being in like a GameStop or whatever the store was prior to that in my area. The tvs in the store were playing a teaser for the new Zelda game that was going to be coming out. I think this might have been like very early concept of windwaker before they went with the cartoon cell shaded style. I remember there was a sword fight between I think Link and Ganon. I remember thinking that games had peaked at that point. Of course we didn’t end up getting exactly that, but the memory remains.
@mr_MADAFAKA , I guess thier developers have some bad spaghetti code and can't debug it enough to work on anything else. And if you were to get it to work, you'd outclass their developers and thus could cheat.
