github.com/pixeltris/TwitchAdSolutions if you’re a twitch user. Ublock by itself doesn’t have a way to handle twitch ads, last I checked.

CrimeDad , to nostupidquestions in Why is it that when I write on Googles keyboard on my phone and misspell something it has no idea what I am trying to write but if I Google the same word it knows instantly what the word is?

Google Keyboard usually gets its/it’s wrong for me as well, but somehow it always gets bourgeoisie right.

It’s confirmed: Google Keyboard is sentient and it’s a socialist!

Yeah no, I’ve used Slackware back in the day… there is no getting back the whole weekends lost chasing dependencies and build dep reqs.

I think the French maid is kind of a sexual fetish (not sure why it’s specifically the French maid lol) so the guys like it. Plus it’s a cute outfit (look up lolita fashion) so the girls like it.

I was a mad Opera user about 25 years ago, it was the best browser by miles at the time. One feature it had was mouse gestures. Mouse gestures and uBlock origin are the only two extensions I can’t love without, but these lists never mention them so I feel like the only one who uses them.

It’s hard to explain how cool and quick it is to be able to control your browser with the mouse. Open/close tabs, navigate tabs, back/forward etc. It doesn’t sound useful, I’m usually a mad keyboard shortcut fiend. But with web browsing in particular, your hand is already on the mouse, scrolling.

The specific extension I use is Gesturefy, I encourage people to install it and give mouse gestures a go.

ganymede ,

Gesturefy just installed now, seem great so far. ty

Vivaldi (chromium) fully supports gestures and happens to have the best tab management on the market. Highly recommended.

Here’s the deal. If your server is close to using up all its RAM, then yes, more RAM better.

However, if your server is close to being full on storage, you need to address that with a bigger storage drive.

I mean, have you seen those outfits? They’re hot AF.

I do find it weird that in anime, maids do it all. They do normal maid stuff, they are super intelligence agents, they are inventors, and bodyguards and pilots and drivers… They’re also sometimes dragons or kitsune.

I have to assume it’s merely a Japanese trope within these fictions. One I saw recently explained that Japan just took one look at Western maids from Europe and became enamored with the idea and why there are maid themed cafes and such. But again, that was in an anime so it could just be a joke.

It’s not all that different than, say, Batman’s Alfred. The Super-Butler is also definitely a trope I’ve seen in a few places.

Codilingus , (edited ) to linuxmemes in Why Are You Staying On Windows 11?

I haven’t left because W11 IoT LTSC exists. No AI, no store, options to disable all the telemetry, no bloat. It’s what a Windows system should be and is pleasant to use. Also Tidal music doesn’t have a viable Linux option 😢. Oh and Quest 2 PCVR streaming.

I also have a Bazzite install I hop on pretty frequently, and it’s getting rather close to me switching which one is my daily driver OS. And leaving a Windows Install for Battlefield. Valorant, and VR.

Edit: Also, it would be a huge shame for someone to waste their time looking for the IoT LTSC .iso on a website massgravedotdev.

stom ,

Windows 11 IoT Enterprise 23H2? Or the Windows 11 IoT Enterprise LTSC 24H2 Preview?

Codilingus ,

I just checked, I only see an option for W11 IoT Enterprise LTSC 2024.

HDR and VR, that’s it. And everything that isn’t gaming happens on my Framework laptop running NixOS anyways.

If it’s meant as a compliment and the person isn’t getting a creep, I take it as a compliment.
