People simply don’t care about whatever small website you plan on hosting. Unless it’s something extremely controversial and you gain a lot of exposure suddenly.
It’s worth worrying about if you ever get big but until then just forget it.
I.E. do something about it when/if it happens and not before. A ddos is fairly harmless unless you need to stay up for some reason (and you don’t need to stay up).
I found emacs to be perfectly fine. Didn’t need an IDE. Go compiler then was astoundingly fast–instant builds, basically. I think newer Go compilers are slower but generate better code. It would be nice to have a compile time flag to turn the slow optimizations on and off, like C compilers have.
Helix. It’s modal like Vim but the defaults just work, and a quick “hx --health” will list every mode and what package you need to install for the language server.
Try Lunarvim. It’s NeoVim, but ships as a fully functional IDE with easy customization if needed. Honestly I basically just changed the theme, font, and added a preview scrollbar.
Blazingly fast, extremely functional, endless customization if desired.
That sucks. Idk what happens in this situation. Like, do they insure motorcycles? Idk. I also don't know how one keeps it from getting ganked outside of taking in indoors tbh. And that's not always viable. But I do know people who ride love it, so I hope you got another somewhere down the line.
Out of curiosity, what did your consignment deals look like? Like were you consigning on behalf of the shop or customers looking to sell their stuff? And you did you split the net?
Every time I’ve done this with an EFI system, what I did was copy paste each partition one at a time using gparted, after making sure the target drive is gpt initialized.
Mine is a blog with 0 posts. I want to share but I don’t have anything to share. The projects that I don’t aren’t anything impressive and I don’t take any photos or document my chaotic process.
I’m pretty shit at writing so I feel like I have to have some interesting content. The target audience is me in the future so idk why am so hesitant to post something.
