Travelling from NL to Poland by touring bus sucks so bad IMO; it’s cramped, it shakes and vibrates so much, it often doesn’t smell great, there’s one tiny toilet for everyone and it isn’t clean by the end anymore, and if there’s an airco it probably won’t work. If I’d known, I’d just visit Poland a season later and save money for an airplane ticket, instead.
The one I’ve been in you could bring food and consume it in the bus, they also made a few stops at tankstations where you could buy snacks and drinks just so you could consume them in the bus.
IMO, trains and planes are better; they travel calmer, are more comfortable, and cleaner, too. At least from my sample size of 1 bus, 2 international trains and a dozen or so airplane rides (mostly to other continents).
Planes are more stressful checking in and out, but you can bring much more baggage and it’s usually cheap to do so. Trains have a fraction of the environmental impact. That’s what I base my decision on, busses are out of question for me.
EDIT I forgot the bus took far longer than it had to, I don’t recall the exact delay but a train would’ve never done that, and with a plane the delay would be me spending time on a nice® airport
Ffs I hate PragerU. The website “All Sides Balanced” quotes them as if they are a reliable and genuine university that does research, when in fact it’s a right wing propaganda machine that spews the already derided laissez faire economics and climate change denialism.
So you see something that concerned 2% to 15% of the population use to hide in the closet and or we didn’t talk about it or know.
Now people are done hiding. Which impacts tons of people who barely understand their anatomy let alone their wives. When school never taught intersex and gender despite it being a thing that was understood in science in the 60s and 70s. A lot of people are suddenly confronted with a reality they don’t understand. When peoples bubbles are popped first comes rejection of thing then comes fear and anger. Issue is with 8 billion people there is constantly people learning about sexual orientation, gender, and sex.
Let’s not even talk about the internalize confusion of you people either. This is just current existing people learning about this stuff today.
it’s only the lucky and the people with enough support in urban enough environments that are not hiding anymore; everyone else is still stuck in the closet.
Which made them react by passing laws like doma and don’t ask don’t tell.
Best case scenario is that they pass respect for marriage act which did absolutely nothing but give legal protection for anti-gay bigotry since the supreme court already invalidated all anti-gay marriage laws almost a decade before hand.
