The best thing you can do is accept the inevitable. If it’s that important, get over it the same way you would an ex or the death of a loved one. In my case that means round up some friends and go get so drunk that you need to be carried home.
I started that like 10 years ago, unfortunately I have a funky shaped head so it doesn’t look as good as it may on others but I do enjoy the maintenance on it. I can definitely tell these days it won’t grow back like it used to (much thinner on the top, edging back on the top sides). However being able to use a hair trimmer once a week myself is cheap, and less things to do while getting ready in the morning.
I can understand since society seems to put value on hair but not worrying about it (some confidence) goes a long way. I barely think about it nowadays.
What with the multiple recommendations for a water pick in the comments, lemme drop some aggregated info I’ve gathered about them after asking multiple dentists and hygienists over the last few years while sitting around waiting for various things.
They’re great for what they are, but they aren’t as great as people think they are.
They do definitely work, no doubts, every single one that I talked about them with said that they’ll get the job done.
The problem is that they have a higher learning curve than you’d think, and that means they can cause more trouble than they fix.
See, you’re using the water pressure at an angle because of how you have to hold the pick and move it. The angle that you’ll likely use them at is the wrong one, and this means you are probably going to be shooting the plaque and debris the pick dislodges under your gums.
Obviously, that is not a good thing.
You can definitely learn how to avoid doing that with a bit of research, but most people don’t do that bare minimum research, they just start spraying and then wonder why their gums are bleeding and sore.
So, if you want to invest in a water pick (and tbh, saving the money to pay for a yearly cleaning would be better), make sure you take the time to use it properly. But, they aren’t better than floss at all, so unless you have some reason you can’t floss, why spend the money?
When I started shaving i went all the way smooth…didnt jive with me. Let it grow and used clippers the next week, set to the closest and that worked great…
I mostly really dont like the use of “depicts” here. Depicts means is a representation of, which is just wrong and feels a little too close to creationist. “Resembles” would be better.
As an Android flavour it should be safe after uninstalling all apps associated with the university. Did any of them need a “device owner” permission? That’s the only way to be more persistent on Android without root access.
As the others said, a factory reset will suffice. If you’re really paranoid, you can check whether your phone has a custom rom you can install. XDA Developers is the best forum to look for that.
Damn shame. Well, I’d try to sell it or trade for a phone that you can install a custom rom, like LineageOS, they have a handy list of devices that have first class support for it.
