Hello fellow pirates ✌️✌️...
I recently got into fighting games (like: kof - street fighters - Mortal Kombat - Guilty Gear…etc). Now you can pirate the game, and you can play it online with someone if the two of you agree on using same pirated copy and Hamachi for example, but where do you meet these people to play with? are there dedicated forums for...
Flying to Greece this weekend and it’s my first flight with my OG Steam Deck....
I like the concept of the iOS/Android app BeReal. Your app tells you randomly during the day that you have to take a combined picture (frond and back camera). So you don’t have much time to prepare. Then this pic is uploaded and friends who follow you can see it....
Made chicken gyros today, made the chicken, tzatziki sauce, and the pita bread. It all tasted fantastic.
My laptop’s HDD is failing, it shows a bunch of signs such as slow file manipulation and clicking sounds. The Linux btrfs partition keeps going into read-only mode to prevent further damage, makes sense, but the windows partition is working fine (for now)....
I want to access my pc / steamdeck from laptop. All 3 devices have different aspect ratio screens. Is there a way to use steam link with guest (laptop in this case) aspect ratio? Or is there any other solution than steam link?...
Which days do you do laundry, grocery shop, cleaning, other life necessities? Any good planners or LPT YouTube channels for a less chaotic life?
Hi, I am planning to build my own location history service similar to the google maps timeline....
I know it’s not popular and I’m typically against it but I was listening to a podcast and it made me think there are absolutely important communities that shouldn’t be on a centralised platform like Reddit. The contents of them are so important that it should be on the Open Social Web. I’m wondering if there is someone...
Finally done the move, still setting up but at least I’m back online!...
I’m thinking of setting up a PeerTube instance for game-related content. A bit like tilvids.com, but for gaming....
I have a TrueNAS install with SMB turned on and nothing else. Even when it’s idle and nothing is accessing it, there’s constant disk activity. Very low bandwidth, but it’s like some log is in verbose mode....

So, I’ve had a Raspberry Pi 4 sitting brand new in a box for a few years, and decided to install BirdNetPi on it yesterday....
I have a backup server running Proxmox Backup and OMV in separate VMs. OMV provides the storage as an NFS to the proxmox backup server VM....
Looking for a self hosted YouTube front end with automatic downloader. So you would subscribe to a channel for example and it would automatically download all the videos and new uploads....
Instincts being we were both hunters and had to hide from predators. Hide and seek feeds both....
I want a to-do list app that syncs from a json file (or other human-readable data format), so that I can view and modify the file (via a CLI like jq) from my computer too, and it would still reflect on my phone when it syncs....
Hey everyone, I’m looking for a driving journal app, to track when, to/from where and which distance I drive....
So, the issue at hand is, I have a Chromecast 4K with Jellyfin Android TV on it. And most of my library is x265/HEVC. But, whenever playing from this specific device, it will natively take HEVC, but with exoplayer library it plays kinda like a slideshow, at about 5-10FPS. Choosing VLC should be ok, and forcing a transcode will...
The last device I own that doesn’t run an open source operating system is an iPad. I basically use it as a laptop most of the time with a keyboard case, but I do like being able to take just the screen to use as a drawing/note-taking tablet. I treat it more like a “convertible” device rather than a tablet alone....
