I’ve recently joined Lemmy and was reminded of this old fact I used to hear about all the time that lemmings will commit mass suicide by jumping off cliffs when they migrate (lemmings being the namesake of Lemmy, I think?)....

So i have alot of ideas but im not sure how to express them but a short film seemed like a good start. the ting is it seems exspensive to get into this hobby becasue you need, props, a script, constumes, skills, etc....

Can anybody lead me down the right path on this…?...

Is it okay to set up two accounts for two instances on the same web browser? When I go to visit the first instance, i can see that account is logged in for that instance. So, that works. Then I direct myself to the another instance’s community/post, I can see the 2nd account is logged in for that instance. Would it make sense...

This is for a novel im writing. For a point in the story, a girl is taking meds and is convinced by friends to go and drink and she has a negative reaction and wakes go the next day remembering nothing....

I finally started connecting my TV to my desktop PC and I’ve been recommended this app to use the mouse remotely from my bed, rathen than getting up and going to click on the mouse all the time....

Why is my home feed on lemmy and kbin filled with posts about beans? Where did this recent obsession come from?

Hi, I just realized that my previous attempts to join the fediverse via Mastodon or Lemmy where just blocked by my choice on the mail provider. I never got any confirmation mail neither in the inbox nor in spam, tested with multiple servers, mask addresses. Just right now tried it with my Gmail account and got the mail...

This is mid 90s, I remember playing it on a PC that didn’t even have Windows on it. It was an alien invasion side scroller. You’re some action dude that has to fight his way through the levels, some of the early enemies are little blobs that jump at you....

i downloaded a torrent file, and for good practice started seeding overnight reaching more than the 1:1 ratio, should i just delete the file or is there a way to correctly stop seeding?, im using qbitorrent...
