As far as I’m aware, the only self hosted player character builder is the charactermancer in plutonium, the patreon-accessible Foundry VTT plugin made by the 5e.tools folks — but man. My kingdom for a dndbeyond alternative, something self hosted that can take open 5th edition content and allow my players to build and save...

Even if it never becomes a widely used website, I feel like it could just be a project I could work on to keep myself busy. Then again, you could always just use the reference section of Wikipedia....

I’ve picked up an eink Android tablet, which is awesome. However I have plenty of ebooks I’ve purchased over the years on places such as Humble, and I was wondering whether there was a self hosted solution like Plex/Emby/Jellyfin but designed for ebooks....

I downloaded the movie ISS. It has some add for a website overlaid on top of the movie, and even ads in the middle. Is there a way to report it or something. I couldn’t even get qbittorrent to tell me where it came from.

I paid for Puzzle Quest 2 on android like a decade+ ago. It is a local single-player game. It has a validation check when you open the app. That check fails because this game is ancient and the servers are offline....

The docs only mention to create an account alias to the old account. However it doesn’t clarify what to do next, as on the account alias page the migration should be done on the old account. I have not found the setting to do this next step.

So I know, I know you’re not really supposed to change the domain of an already existing Mastodon server. But I did anyway and set the previous domain as alt domain in config. However, to see content of accounts I previously followed, I need to keep the old domain running. With a redirect in place to the new domain it breaks...
