What games can you recommend that didn't get the appreciation that they deserved?
I’ve been recently been thinking about Arkane Studio’s Prey which is a immersive sim, with a pretty good rogue like dlc, that probably has one of the strongest hooks of any game I’ve played. If you liked Halflife, System Shock, or Deus Ex it’s definitely worth a play....

What do you use to track BMCs/KVMs/IPMI?
I manage hundreds of servers at work. They each have a BMC (remote power on/off, reset, KVM, etc) and we need to use those features frequently. I’ve been using a Google Docs spreadsheet to track their URLs, what each box is used for, specs, etc but it feels like a dynamic web app would be better for this purpose. Does anyone...
Let's talk about free/FOSS routing platforms for the homelab
I am going to intentionally exclude Unifi and Mikrotik along with the vendors like Cisco, Juniper, Aruba etc from this discussion as I don’t think they are relevant (especially since you can’t run them on your hardware)....
Why are camera taken videos at the same resolution way bigger than ones ripped from youtube?
A 4 min 1080p30fps video taken with my phone camera is 518MB, While a 12 min 1080p30fps video ripped from youtube is 341MB, both are using mp4 h.264 as codec and the youtube one isnt of lower quality, so why this big difference?

What is the ideology behind private trackers?
Private trackers are well known for their elitist and insufferable users. I’d like to know the reasons behind their gatekeeping. Is it just mere elitism to feel superior or are there any other reasons? I’ve heard people saying they like to have a smaller number of high quality users for long term stability. I’ve even heard...

[QUESTION] - what would you make with six pomegranates?
I picked up a Too Good To Go yesterday and it had six pomegranates among many other fruits and veggies (all for 4 euros). Most of the stuff I have a plan for but really not sure what do with with all the pomegranates. Most recipes seem to be using them more as a topping and I’ll never use them all that way....
best supported emulator for sega consoles on ubuntu 23.10

Are there any genuine benefits to AI?
I can see some minor benefits - I use it for the odd bit of mundane writing and some of the image creation stuff is interesting, and I knew that a lot of people use it for coding etc - but mostly it seems to be about making more cash for corporations and stuffing the internet with bots and fake content. Am I missing something...
