I own a couple TP-Link Tapo Wi-fi light bulbs. Currently, each family member installs an app on the phone to control the light bulbs. I wonder if there’s a way to do the same but in a browser (via docker app on my NAS). And because we may use smart devices of other brands in the future, it seems too much trouble to install yet...

Is it possible to use a hosting service I’m already paying for (strato.nl) and a domain I’ve already bought to host a Mastodon/Pixelfed instance? All the websites that encourage me to selfhost advertise a new hosting service to me with the price in dollars....

A friend was looking for an app so I explored some FOSS ones. It might be helpful to take it a step further and self host it so that family members can coordinate care....

It’s a student job. Only 3 hours a week, and i’m gone (already wow) from the uk in 3 months and hte pay is around 7.5 pound an hour. My favorite games are Omori, Disco Elysium and Outer Wilds. I cried for hours at the end of those games, and I think the common point in them is high-quality emotional writing and stellar OST (music really affect me) and my attachment to the characters....
