Is there a way to fallow a user account on Lemmy?
Say I found a person that I want to fallow on Lemmy, is it possible to be able to see any post they make show up in my subscribed thread?
There have been multiple accounts created with the sole purpose of posting advertisement posts or replies containing unsolicited advertising.
Accounts which solely post advertisements, or persistently post them may be terminated.

It’s one of my favorite features from Reddit. Especially the wiki (assuming it’s updated) is useful to quickly get an overview of things to refer to. Also love seeing the unique community themes on subreddits like on old.reddit.com
I’ve tried googling, nothing I’m finding is working....
I’m an admittedly new member to the fediverse and working my way though, so please let me know if this is posted in the wrong place....

Note that the group mainly focuses on...
I have been lurking on Reddit for 5 years with only one follower. In last 5 days, I got 6 followers out of nowhere. Do anyone living same thing? Could Reddit have fallen that far? Also, when I look at my follower list, I still have that one loyal follower....
now starting when it should...
But why?
I’m trying to get my hands on the Official Comptia Linux+ (XK0-005) Study Guide, I’ve managed to get the previous version on LibGen and i doubt there is much difference between the two but it would be nice to compare them both....
It was amazing for a decade or two, but now the night scares me, I do not know what awaits us in the morning.
tldr: a huge torrent of books straight from the academic publisher De Gruyter...
I saw that beehaw.org was defederated from lemmy.world but not on lemmy.one. And I am on the latter one. What does it mean exactly?
Lots of awesome links in the megathread, but I have yet to find a good source for content in languages other than English. Specifically movies/series in German, either as the original VO, or dubbed. Are there any torrent or DDL sites where it is easy to find German stuff?
Hi all. I bought a new (for me) Subaru yesterday and I’m already sick of plugging my phone in (yet my last car couldn’t even connect a phone)....
I’m looking for PC games that I can play while listening to podcasts- games that don’t have engaging cut scenes or important dialogue, games that honestly don’t require a lot of skill or thought....

Is there someone here that managed to use ngrok or something like it to make their torrent client connectable without port forwarding? Something like announcing my address to the tracker as the ngrok address, so that people can connect to me using that and download.
