What are your favorite DE's that you use on laptop?
I have tried out Gnome, KDE, Lxqt and Xfce on a regular desktop and all of them feel nice. I haven’t tried many DE’s on a laptop....

My own domain?
Currently I’m with lemmy.world, but if i wanted to create my own, to run at my house, would I need to register a domain? I like the idea of having my own domain but also don’t know how the storage works… like if I post to my own, sure it gets stored, but if I post to somewhere on lemmy.world, where does it get stored?
What do you think about sublemmies that add content by reposting from Reddit?
Is it a good (probably temporary) way to get content in Lemmy?

Why is there such a big thing about prescription opioids when the addiction rate in less than 1% for those who have been prescribed for pain?
Is it really just because of the fentanyl situation? Is how easily mods have caved in once the admins threatened to remove them. I had thought we’d see quite a few cases where Reddit would have to step in an replace entire mod teams (effectively killing the community). But it seems like that hasn’t happened at all - the closest we’ve got is mods being reordered....
