Nursing student here!...

Seemingly the functionality for setting languages is never used, and a large portion of my new feed is from instances that are language specific (and not the language I speak)....

I love how I can customize my PC/VPS (Linux), and I feel truly at home. I hate smartphones (iPhone and Android). I hate it how limited I am in configuring them, and it’s a PITA to make sure it all syncs with my main computer....

Some time ago I commented that one of my favorite ways to brew coffee is on a moka pot which I then aeropress to clean out the particulates. Many responded that they just put an aeropress filter on the moka pot for the same results. So, I tried it. The resulting brew is VERY different and, to me, not good at all....

I used to take screenshots of the picture I wanted to use as wallpaper, but then Android stopped that from working, and now I have to manually add a giant border to make the screenshots fit the arbitrary fiant wallpaper size on the Android screen....

The confirmation page says the order is confirmed but instead of providing tracking information, it has a button that says ‘Download Shop to track package’. Obviously I’m not going to do that, but I do want to track my package....

I’m thinking of getting a new laptop which uses Coreboot. The reason is that I’m into FOSS and would also like to not have IME installed. Currently I’m looking at Starlabs’ Starbook, which can optionally be bought with Coreboot....

the idea is to use your soon to be former job as a fallback option....
