I have a paid account with Gmail, and previously have used outgoing mail with other services(like phpbb and Mastodon), and they worked. If you can provide some help, that would be much appreciated. So many posts and comments end up with just a few downvotes, compared at least to the number of upvotes. The only time downvotes get relatively large is when there’s a contentious issue or outright bad behaviour. Otherwise, there’s very often just a few downvotes....
