Hello, I’m not sure where to ask this. But my login fails through every web browser. I can do a password reset, which logs me in. But then I cannot log in with the new password using another web browser. Anyone else having this issue?...

Title, basically. Back on Reddit, there was a way to add a user as a friend. It made it easer to identify people (Apollo would highlight friends differently), as well as to see what they’re up to across all communities. There was even a feed for all posts by all friends, which was really useful.

So I have set up my own Mastodon instance and it’s empty. What should I do to fill up my instance with content? And how do I do that other users of Mastodon on other instances see my “tweets” on my instance?

I suffer several micro cuts a day since a couple weeks. I’d like to monitor these cuts to help diagnose the issue with my ISP....

Hi there, On my router/modem I cannot change the DNS entries, thus just using Adguard/PiHole for DNS blocking ads doesn’t work. Would a seperate Router circumvent this problem? Could I set up Adguard (or PiHole) on a Raspberry and use it as a DNS server for my home network?...

The main reason for the Linux operating system not seeing widespread adoption is because of its multitude of distros. Ubuntu, Debian, Arch, Mint… there are just so many choices, just like how when someone asks how to join the Fediverse people will response with “which instance?”...
