I just opened youtube, and literally between every video on the home screen was the same adbanner for this stupid movie This was never this extreme for me. Is something similar happening for some of you, or is this just rng?

This is assuming he’d have been found guilty for leading the Nazi government like others were....

From what I understand, a lot of knowledge was lost following the collapse of the Roman Empire as manuscripts were no longer being copied at the established frequency and information that had lost relevance (for certain jobs etc.) wasn’t being passed down....

Hi folks! After a couple of months of discussions around the topic, I have decided to go ahead and make the first actual anti-coporate community on lemmy, according to lemmyexplorer.org....

I’m searching around for a lemmy client to that has the option to hide downvotes altogether....

I have currently a RX 6700XT and I’m quite happy with it when it comes to gaming and regular desktop usage, but was recently doing some local ML stuff and was just made aware of huge gap NVIDIA has over AMD in that space....

I’ve been learning some about rabies and learned about rabies causing hydrophobia. This is just a theory, I’m not saying I know anything about this topic to be knowledgeable, but if we could get someone with rabies to not fear water, could they survive?

I have a bookstack instance self-hosted and I quick like the program and workflow. I like having ‘books’ of information to separate/organize my information. It feels very much like folder heirarchy to me, and while that has its issues, I prefer it. Being able to add tags to pages helps alleviate some of those issues and...
