So I’m loving the switch as lemmy’s growing larger, I’ve always used my freshrss reader to view topics. Now with reddit there’s an extension for freshrss RedditImage that displays reddit images and photos without the need to click the link....

I just found out @Midwest.social exists after finding the Chicago community there. I was trying to list out other communities on that instance and couldn’t quite figure it out. Do I have to visit Midwest.social in order to list them, or is there a way to do it from lemmy.world?

Is there a self hosted web based note app similar to Obsidian or Joplin? I’ve tried Trilium and its ether above my pay grade in terms of knowledge, or I’ve set it up wrong. I was getting annoyed that the default view is always local posts with Active, and found out that you can change the defaults in the settings! Just don’t forget to hit save like I did....
