Bought a couple of Exos 7E10 8TB drives, warranty status says "initially sold as part of a larger system, contact seller". It means I can't take advantage of their five years warranty, doesn't it?

I am currently hosting Nextcloud on Linode using the AIO Docker container. I am very happy with how this works, but the running costs is more than I would like to spend on this. I am running a 4 GB Linode (anything less would cause severe lag in the Web UI), with 2x100GB block storage (one for data and one for the Borg backup)....

you always have to manage a million different cables for each one, and they all suck. why can’t we just use AAA batteries instead of these shitty lithium ones? it’s so fucking frustrating. where can I find gadgets that work while plugged in, or at least don’t need to be recharged every two fucking days?
