Can someone explain Usenet to a long-time torrent-er?

I’m a pretty heavy torrent user, running a media server complete with sonarr/radarr for automatic downloads. I download a lot, and have multiple TBs of upload on various private trackers. I’ve been torrenting forever, but I’ve always wondered about usenet. Over and over on this, and other, forums I see people saying that...

Dell T420 mainboard in T320? Differences? Heatsink? Air Baffle?

It typically goes match on dating site, set up date, try to get to know each other over snap and then interest lost. I do tend to respond...

What alternatives are there for organizing notes on linux, with similar features to those that OneNote provides?

Could, in theory, we merge black holes to prolong the life of the universe?

Seeing as the heat death of the universe occurs once black holes have stopped emitting Hawking radiation, and BH’s life spans are tied to their mass, could a (very, very advanced) civilisation bring two or more together? Assuming nobody’s succumbed to proton decay before then, of course....
